Something Happy
I swear to the gods, that I truly would like to blather about something happy. There are, I know, happy things going on in the world. I am involved in many of them. But, when you only have limited strength to blather, it is hard to get past all the ourageous crap, that Trump and the Tea People are doing. I have a new grand niece, my brother Dirty Jack Nesler was just here for a visit, and I have a hell of a crop of cucumbers, figs and green beans. But, when you get up every morning and read the news, as I do, it is pretty tough not to be fixated on the insanity around us. Here, below, are some samples, from recent news reports from around the net. And, BTW, while I am thinking of it, the New York Times, America's best newspaper, is offering FREE DIGITAL ACCESS to news of hurricane Harvey.
